Parish Councillors are volunteers, what they are able to bring to this role varies according to their available time and commitments.  The main commitment is to attend the Full Council meetings held twice a month. Councillors can have a huge impact on improvements to the local community.

Over the last few years the Parish Council has changed significantly and we face even more changes in the future.  The Government’s Localism Bill has the power to change the way Local Government, the Parish Council and Communities work.  Exciting times ahead!
