In the last few weeks, there has been a big increase in reporting of the anti-social use of motorbikes/mopeds across Milton Keynes; with a lot centred around busy locations such as Furzton and Willen lakes and around the Bowl and other large open areas.

These areas are normally quite busy, but with the onset of the school holidays, they will get even busier with families with small children using them for leisure purposes.

These motorbikes/mopeds are ridden in a dangerous manner with little or no regard for the safety of others.

It is very difficult for police to deal with these motorbikes when they are moving, as the safety of all, including the riders, has to be considered.

Police would urge any members of the public who know the names and addresses of the bike riders, to report them to police, so that action can be taken to prevent any accidents or injuries.
Reports can be made via 101 or Crimestoppers, and callers can remain anonymous.
